Williams Branch Studio is a small interior design practice built on two habits: a close look at how people live, and drawings careful enough to carry a room from an idea to a finished space.

Leah Shea Branch and Kimber Williams
Leah Shea Branch and Kimber Williams are the studio’s two owners and principals. Both hold a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from the University of Alabama, a program accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA), and that training shows in the way the studio works. Every project starts on paper. Space plans and AutoCAD drawings settle the layout early, elevation drawings let you see a wall of cabinetry or a fireplace surround before anyone builds it.
The studio is based in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and works with clients across the Southeast and beyond.

How we think about a room
We like rooms that feel collected rather than bought all at once: Guided by the principles and elements of design, we mix the old with the new and the refined with the relaxed, creating spaces in your home. Warm neutrals and natural materials do most of the work, with clean modern lines brought in where a room needs them. Nothing should shout, and nothing should feel like it arrived on the same truck.
Just as important is the part no one photographs. A beautiful room that does not suit the people living in it is not finished. Our job is to understand your house, your routines and your budget, and then to design rooms that hold up to daily life and still look considered years from now.
